Tatte, based in Brookline, MA, has the most wonderful pastries, including a delicious chocolate filled brioche. But what I’d really like this holiday season is a box of Tatte’s rose cookies. Flaky pastry with vanilla meringue filling, they’re almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

This strikes me as simply brilliant: Mini Eco-i-Lite’s nightlight/flashlight combination. (The flashlight comes on when you remove it from the cradle.) Available at the Container Store.
