I’m so taken with the first three looks in Christopher Kane’s pre-fall collection. The banding detail, inspired by a boa constrictor, proved versatile as the effect ranged from severe (look 1) to almost demure (look 3). Clever. Vera Wang’s pre-fall collection seems a welcome return to the utilitarian luxe design aesthetic that won me over: simple lines paired with glamorous details.
