Yesterday, humidity arrived, and with it, the first taste of summer. I felt it as soon as I got five minutes into my run, and the humidity lingered through mid-afternoon, until the lake breeze started to blow – one of the perks of living close (ish) to the Lake Michigan. I was inspired by the breeze and the light to go outside and take a bunch of pictures. The one above is of our side yard, looking far more lush than a few short weeks ago, and it will continue to develop.
Speaking of photos, my cousin passed along the name of another excellent photographer to check out. Laurie Frankel’s portfolio features stunning kids, still life and food photography. You know how I love food shots! Plus, she’s featured in the latest Communication Arts magazine. I ran right out to buy it – great stuff. Check out Laurie’s website: while scanning her list of clients, you’ll realize that you’ve come across her work at some point. Inspiring! Thanks, tt!!
