In a weekend filled with soccer games and birthday parties, I was killing some time at Border’s this weekend.  I picked up the latest Mary Engelbreit Home Companion to flip through while waiting for the party to end.  While I’m not the biggest fan of her personal style, I enjoy the magazine because she features such a variety of interesting artists.  The new issue’s artist standouts (for me) were Kaas Glass Works, which makes lovely decoupage art, and Rosanna, Inc, which makes decorative plates.  (Rosanna’s Twelve Days of Christmas plates that are featured in the magazine have sold out.)  As for Kaas, I’d love to get to New York City to see their store in the West Village.  Looks very charming!
