Bizarre insights into my mind – right now, I’m in the midst of what I like to term “bottle reduction”. I have accumulated way too many products that have to be used in the everyday getting ready process. Shampoos, shower gels, and let’s not even get started on the various facial products. The amassing starts so innocently – I read an article (in a magazine, no doubt) that touts “X” as the perfect product to deal with my X-iness. Sold! Or I get a sample card from Sephora, Neimans, Nordstrom (you name it, I’ll get sucked in). I buy it, try it, and more often than not am underwhelmed, but the crazy in me needs to keep it until it’s used up. Hence, bottle reduction phases – where I stop buying and just use stuff up! The problem? As soon as I near completion of bottle reduction, I’m all about getting back to buying – because the end goal is the perfect, streamlined, getting ready system. Still don’t have that system – am I getting closer? Maybe I just need the perfect spf …..
