Loving my locket + Giveaway winner

JMB gold locket | simple pretty

I don’t wear a lot of jewelry. Most days, it’s just my wedding rings because I can’t even be bothered to put in earrings. But recently, I’ve been looking for ways to punch up the old tee shirt and jeans combo, so I’ve been poking through my jewelry collection. I got this monogrammed locket when I was a baby as a gift from my aunt. (I think I was a baby – let’s just say it was a long time ago.) I decided to start wearing it again, as it felt good to have a bit of history hanging around my neck. Problem was, it was popping open as I walked. I asked my parents to consider having it repaired for me as a Christmas present, and headed over to the jeweler to do a little research into how much this might cost. Five minutes later, and for free!, the necklace now snaps closed, and stays that way. Now I’m going to have to find a couple of photos to store inside. And my parents have to move on down the Christmas list.

Congratulations, Barbara C! You’ve won the Page Stationery goodies! Send me an email (click through my profile) with your mailing address and I’ll get them mailed out promptly.

Monogrammed jewelery never seems to go out of style. I have a charm bracelet my grandparents gave me on my fifteenth birthday and also a tiny square charm on a silver chain and the monogram and date they had engraved on them make them so special.
