I’m starting to think I should pinch myself each morning because I cannot believe how fabulous the weather has been. Remember, I’m happiest in long sleeved tees and maybe a light cardigan. Your weather perfection may vary. Faced with yet another sunny day in the 70s on Monday, the birds were singing, and bunnies were hopping happily through the neighborhood. (There are so many more bunnies this year that my son thought we “imported” some to the neighborhood, like you would stock a pond with fish.) After lunch, we set out on another bike ride. This time, we discovered a new path through the arbortheatre, complete with a small waterfall. I spotted the thistle pictured above on our ride home. The flower stalks looked so happy in the afternoon sun.

June is winding down, and July 4th will be here before you know it. These patriotic lollipops, offered by Dean & Deluca, would be a perfect Independence Day treat. Not only are they adorable (Statue of Libertys and stars), but the flavors sound good to me, too! (raspberry, cherry and cotton candy) One dozen pops for $24 at the Dean & Deluca website. Yum.
