The July/August issue of Elle Decor arrived over the weekend, and I’m still fixated on Frederic Fekkai and Shirin Von Wulffen’s house in Millbrook, NY. It’s gorgeous, of course, but there are also ideas I’d like to co-opt into my ongoing home decorating project. (It will never end, I fear.) For instance, I’d like a bull’s eye mirror somewhere in our house. I like the one pictured above.

And minimalist that I am, no window treatments could be better than these (linen?) roman shades pictured above.

I am super picky about window treatments and I like all of these. The top photo demonstrates exactly what I want to do in my studio. A little mirror above the couch, with long dramatic drapes from ceiling to floor. When oh when will I decide on the colors???!
