We’re in to June and no peony blooms yet. Everything is running late this year. No matter – when they’re ready, I will be too, with my Felco pruner and a vase filled with water. They’re soooo close. If I’m lucky, I’ll have my first bouquet in time for the weekend.
I’m loving Ron Schmidt‘s photos right now. My cousin (of course) forwarded me an email of his Lewie & Clark dog series. You’re supposed to pick your favorite. I would not even be able to contain my excitement if those were my peonies about to bloom. I’ve had absolutely no luck growing them down here in Georgia!
