How is the weekend over? It was just Friday night! (see above) Somehow, soccer finds a way to make Saturday and Sunday fly by. We drove to Elgin, IL for the tournament on Saturday morning – left the house at 7; stopping for Starbucks along the way. Games at 8:50, 10:30, and 12:10. (Win, lose, lose for those of you keeping score.) Afterward, we drove down to Geneva for some yumminess. I seriously can not pass up this place when I am 20 minutes away. Net result? Home again at 3 pm. Watch a little Bourne Identity and play three games of Clue (each of us won once!) and you can cross off Saturday.Sunday was slightly more frustrating. The boys drove to Elgin. (I didn’t go, as it had been raining all night and still was raining when they left). They learned that the games were cancelled as they were pulling into the complex. Still, even with “found time”, the day passed quickly. Chores to be done, and those Target runs can kill you.Plus, on Sunday, Stacy at Paper Doll phoned to say that her shop (it’s a great shop, by the way) received the new Paper+Cup Communique line! Oh, was it hard not to stamp my foot and beg to go into the city to check it out. I will get there – I just couldn’t force the trip on our “only” free day. It is killing me that the stuff isn’t pictured online, though. (If it were, I would be ordering over the phone right now.) This morning, Grace announced that the Design*Sponge letterpress guide had been updated. I’m off to check out the new additions. And wait on the mail ….
