Another Monday; another weekend filled with baseball and soccer and a piano recital. Spring is flying by.
Sunday was a good newspaper day – both the Tribune and the New York Times had great magazine sections. The Tribune’s website is awful – I can’t find the magazine section online – you’ll have to believe me when I tell you that it featured some great, if over-the-top, outdoor entertaining stories. On to the Times: not only was there an interesting feature about celebrities and socialites who are being dressed by Vogue magazine for tonight’s Costume Institute Gala (are you going?) but there was also a fun story in the T:Style magazine about Cookz, a website that intends to publish recipes in pictograms. So far, there’s only one recipe – for chocolate chip cookies – with more to come. (One step pictured above.) So cute, and it would make a fun children’s cookbook. Though who am I kidding? I’d buy it for me.
Oops! I almost forgot the story about New Orleans style c0ld-brewed coffee. Now I’m craving some. I need to order the concentrate and try it.
