Happy Wednesday! I skipped yesterday’s post as I was on a field trip to the Art Institute with 132 4th graders. It was a gorgeous day and I’m glad to have gone. I’m also glad to have it behind me for another year.
Have you had a chance to see the May Port2Port shop update? Maria launched two new projects: on the count of three, the second installment in her photographs & prints project (a lovely collection that runs until August 1 – my favorite is the coffee and chocolate pic), as well as the lavish lilac card set (there are only 19 sets left as of this writing). I ordered my lilac set yesterday right when I got home. I didn’t want to procrastinate and miss out: peonies are my favorite flower, but there is nothing like the scent of lilacs in the spring air. Our lilacs (pictured above) oare on the verge of bursting open. I can’t wait, and I’m looking forward to my Port2Port package to celebrate.
