It’s Monday again, and a jam-packed soccer weekend has once again passed us by. The yard has been spring cleaned; all the dead foliage has been cleared away, bushes are pruned, the grass has been cut and the beddings edged. Before you get overly impressed with our work ethic, I must confess that we outsourced the job. There are only so many hours in the weekend and soccer claims most of the waking ones! Now that the temperatures have warmed, I’m ready to attack the windows (no outsourcing). This is a multiple day/week job, as I limited myself to one room at a time to avoid being overwhelmed. The problem is, by the time the last windows are cleaned, the first windows are dirty again. Oh well, it feels good to clean each set to a sparkle and have the fresh air breezing through the house. It’s my Martha moment, and I try to enjoy it.
