I must have fallen into a wayback machine, because when I woke up this morning, I saw January. No joke – this picture was taken five minutes ago, and it’s blowing and snowing like a good old blizzard. Yuck. I’m resisting the urge to get in my car and drive south …. weather can really affect my mood. You can bet I’ll spend the day flipping through Charleston and Savannah magazines, and searching realtor.com, pretending that I live somewhere else.
On a positive note, my good friend R is running the St. Louis marathon this weekend. She’s bringing along an entourage to cheer her on. As I will be in Rockford, cheering on my buddy at his soccer tournament (in the snow?) I will say it now: Go R!!
