Looking for something to do this holiday Monday? Try the following:
- Do you have about two hours? I suggest you read Calvin Trillin’s lovely book, About Alice. Originally a piece for the New Yorker (in a shorter form), it speaks of Trillin’s love and adoration for his wife, Alice. Loved it.
- Only have 92 minutes? Watch Saved! Released in 2004, featured on Oxygen over the weekend (where I watched it again), this is definitely worth a spot in your Netflix queue. It’s a teenage movie fit for grownups.
- Really crunched for time? Then a song from Saved!, “Flowers in the Window” by Travis, is what I recommend. Only three minutes and 41 seconds of your time, not including the download time from iTunes.
