As I accumulate my wardrobe for my virtual life, where I am not sweltering, nor waiting for soccer practice to end, I am continually drawn to strapless dresses. They seem so elegant, and I imagine the party or dinner I am attending which requires said dress. Sadly, every time I try on a strapless dress, I am less than enthused (“sausage” comes to mind). Yet I haven’t given up hope, and when Daily Candy featured designer Heidi Merrick this week, I checked out her summer collection. I looove the White Rosanna dress – so summer-garden-party-elegant-without-trying-too-hard, but is it the one?
As an aside, Project Runway thoughts: yes, Keith broke the rules and had to go, but I will really miss his designs. And hurrah to Michael and Laura for restraining Angela’s rosette infatuation. She owes them, and BIG.
