Had a wonderful time in Minneapolis (even made it on to Lake Minnetonka thanks to some friends – it was like being a local) – and although the city still has some work to do in the “shops open” category (Victory, I’m talking to you), those that were open were delightful – I was picky, and we didn’t do a lot of shopping, to the delight of my husband and son.
On the drive home, we stopped off in Princeton, Wisconsin to check out the town – I’d heard great reviews. The reviews checked out. Henry’s (henrymoss.com) was a delight – full of things I wanted that I never would have seen otherwise. And lunch at Mimi’s was elegant, and delicious. Found a few things for the house while we peeked in the shops. If you’re in Wisconsin, check it out!
